Search Committee Nomination Form

Before submitting a nomination, please read this important message:

The Search Committee will be charged with a very important responsibility – identifying a new Dean who can lead Christ Church Cathedral into an even brighter future.

Because of the importance of the committee’s work, nominees should be aware much will be expected of them. The search process most likely will take a minimum of six months, and searches at some churches have required one or even two years.

According to the vestry’s transition schedule, the committee will begin meeting in earnest in late October. Committee members will meet in person once per week with only a few breaks around holidays, and committee members will conduct on-line research of potential prospects between meetings.

The committee will determine the dates and times for its meetings, and committee members will be expected to attend.

Travel will be required, especially toward the end of the process, and the vestry will provide a budget to pay the travel costs of committee members on limited personal budgets.

El Comité de Búsqueda tendrá una responsabilidad muy importante: identificar a un nuevo decano que pueda guiar a la Iglesia Catedral de Cristo hacia un futuro aún más brillante.

Debido a la importancia del trabajo del comité, los candidatos deben saber que se espera mucho de ellos. El proceso de búsqueda probablemente durará un mínimo de seis meses, y las búsquedas en algunas iglesias han requerido uno o incluso dos años.

Según el calendario de transición de la junta parroquial, el comité comenzará a reunirse en serio a finales de octubre.
