Wednesday at the Cathedral

One of the oldest congregations in the state, our church parish was founded in 1839 during the Republic of Texas, and our present sanctuary dates back to 1893. On Wednesdays, the Cathedral is open from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. for prayer and contemplation. You may spend your time alone, or the guide may share the Cathedral’s rich history with you. Cathedral Tours are available each Sunday following the 11 a.m. service and on the first Sunday of each month after the 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. services.”
You are also welcome to join us for a service of Noonday Prayer, offered weekdays at 12:05 p.m. in our historic Golding Chapel. On Wednesday at 5:05 p.m. we also offer a service of Holy Eucharist.
While you’re here, visit the Cathedral Bookstore from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (M–Th) and enjoy a delicious meal at Treebeards restaurant, open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m (M–F). We offer convenient, free parking for those attending our services or Cathedral tours.
