Since 1839, we have been a witness to downtown Houston through worship, learning and loving service. On the longest night of the year, we will gather to mark the dawning of new light in our lives. Not just for those in mourning, these services are for those who find themselves holding sorrow or exhaustion or griefs of all kinds. Also known as ‘Blue Christmas’, this contemplative prayer service provides a space for reflection on loss and hope. The Longest Night will be on Dec. 22 at 5 p.m. in person in the Cathedral. The service includes Eucharist with music by musicians from The Well.
