Posadas

Due to inclement weather, Posadas have been cancelled for Dec. 22 and 23.

Members of all congregations gather in people’s homes each night across Houston to commemorate the journey of Joseph and Mary from Nazareth to Bethlehem in search of a safe refuge where Mary could give birth to the baby Jesus.

Gran Posada

Also, join us on December 18 for a warming and enlightening Sancocho Supper. With friends from every service at the Cathedral, we’ll break bread together and enjoy sancocho, a traditional Dominican soup, as Jasminne Mendez, Dominican-American poet, playwright, translator and award-winning author of several books for children and adults, shares her work. Register to attend.
