Internationally acclaimed teacher of Celtic spirituality, popular speaker, and widely read author, John Philip Newell, will give a special public address and book signing at the Cathedral on Sunday evening, May 14, at 6:00. John Philip will be presenting on the main themes of his celebrated new book, Sacred Earth Sacred Soul: Celtic Wisdom for Reawakening to What Our Souls Know and Healing the World.

John Philip Newell, the former Warden of Iona Abbey in the Western Isles of Scotland and one of the world’s most beloved teachers of Celtic spirituality, has written numerous award-winning books on the Celtic spiritual tradition, including Listening for the Heartbeat of God, The Rebirthing of God, and A New Harmony. He is a much sought-after spiritual guide who brings ancient wisdom to bear on the most important issues of our day.
