Since 1839, we have been a witness to downtown Houston through worship, learning and loving service. As part of the Episcopal Booksellers Association Authors Series, on Thursday, August 12 at 6 p.m. Central on Zoom, Bob Lupton discusses his 2011 book Toxic Charity: How Churches and Charities Hurt Those They Help. He explains how we can move from “us-based giving” to healthy helping.

The event will be held August 12 at 6 p.m. via Zoom. Advance Registration Required to attend.
