Christmas at the Cathedral

On Saturday, December 7, 2024, Mission Outreach will partner with Kid’s Hope to provide families in need with a festive holiday celebration that includes gifts (toys!), games, carols, entertainment, and lunch. During the December celebration, parents will select toys for their children that volunteers will wrap so they’re ready for giving. Toys can be donated in the breezeway beginning in November and continuing into December. Many more volunteers are needed to make the day a success. Volunteer signup sheets will also be available in the breezeway. Volunteers are needed to set up the toy room, wrapping room, and wrap gifts selected by parents. Volunteers are also needed to set up Reynolds Hall for lunch (and serve lunch), for game setup (and to run games), for entertainment setup, and for cleanup. The greater the number of volunteers the more fun it is for the kids and their families. Past volunteers have shared that participating in Christmas at the Cathedral is a truly fulfilling experience during the holiday season. Come join the fun!
