Since 1839, we have been a witness to downtown Houston through worship, learning and loving service. Cathedral leaders have been exploring different opportunities to meet goals laid out in our Vision Action Plan to expand the Cathedral’s outreach services to the immigrant community.

A pilgrimage to Casa Marianella, an Austin- based shelter for displaced immigrants and asylum seekers, has been arranged for Friday, December, and a few spaces are still available.

A bus will depart from the Cathedral at 8 a.m. and return at approximately 6 p.m. The only cost for pilgrims will be their own lunch. Please contact Susan Reedy ([email protected]) or Kristin Johnson ([email protected]) if you are interested in attending.
