Youth Sunday School is a place to come together as a community and grow in our faith through teaching, discussion, and doughnuts. Learn more about the Cathedral’s Youth Ministry
Using Episcopal-based curriculum, Cathedral Youth gather together in the big room of the Treehouse located on the third floor of the McGehee building to catch up and grab a doughnut for breakfast. We split into age-appropriate groups: middle and high school.
Our weekly teachings and discussions allow us to dig deep from the readings in church. Throughout the Sunday school process, our students will: memorize and understand key phrases from worship services and biblical passages: the Nicene Creed, the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Confession.
In addition, they will master Bible skills; to be able to read and discuss short biblical passages, explore the plot and characters in Jesus’ parables, become familiar with stories of Jesus’ care for the sick, poor, and outcast. Friends are always welcome to join us. If you have any questions about the program, please contact Marcia Quintanilla, Minister for Youth.

Latino Youth Sunday School (grades 6–12) is a time where we come together as a community and grow in our faith through teaching, and discussion. Learn more about the Cathedral’s Latino/Hispanic Ministry.
