Weekly Bible Studies

Ongoing opportunities to explore Scripture in a relaxed, communal setting.

  • Men’s Fellowship & Bible Study: Wednesdays | 7–8 a.m. | Zoom
    Explore the Gospel of John and enjoy fellowship with men of all ages.
  • Women’s Morning Bible Study: Wednesdays | 9:30–11 a.m. | Hybrid
    A warm, welcoming group reflecting on the upcoming Sunday scripture lessons.
  • Thursday Morning (“The Path”): Thursdays | 7–8 a.m. | Zoom
    A “30,000-foot view” of the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. Register
  • Thursday Noon Study: Thursdays | 12–1 p.m. | Zoom
    Pause your workday to prepare your heart for Sunday worship through guided reflection.
  • 20s & 30s Study: Tuesdays | 7–8 p.m. | In-Person
    A relaxed space for young adults featuring dinner and discussion.

Foundational Classes

Core programs designed to introduce you to the Episcopal way of life.

  • Come and See: Following Jesus: Sundays | 12:30–1:45 p.m. | McGehee Conference Room
    A five-session introduction to the Episcopal Church. Explore Scripture, prayer, and worship in a welcoming environment. Lunch is provided Register
  • Education for Ministry (EfM): Tuesdays | 6:30–9:00 p.m. | Mellinger Room
    A transformative four-year program (taken one year at a time) that explores the Bible, Church History, and Ethics.

Specialty Small Groups

Unique, topical gatherings to explore specific aspects of life and faith.

  • Being With: 10-Session Course | Zoom
    Explore life’s biggest questions—meaning, suffering, and Jesus—through storytelling and shared experiences. Led by Nina Johnston and Mike Temple
  • Caring for God’s Good Earth: Sundays (Oct 5 – Nov 9) | 6:00–7:30 p.m. | Mellinger Room
    A six-session pilot class exploring our environmental values and “active hope” for the created world. Enrollment limited to 10. Register
  • Collect Writing with Dean Katz: Monthly | Hybrid (Kick-off Nov 9 at 1 p.m. / Monthly Zoom 2nd Wednesdays)
    Learn to craft your own prayers using the ancient “collect” form. A unique way to grow in relationship with God and the community. Register

Cathedral Book Club

Exploring stories, sharing perspectives, and building community through the written word.

The Cathedral Book Club is a welcoming space for anyone who loves to read and engage in thoughtful conversation. We explore a diverse range of fiction, non-fiction, and spiritual titles—all suggested and “test-read” by our members. Whether you’re a lifelong bibliophile or looking to get back into reading, you are welcome to join us at any point during the year.

  • Time: First Wednesday of the month (excluding Jan, July, and Aug) | 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
  • Location: Jeffers Conference Room (with a Zoom option for those joining from home).
