Introducing Christ Church Cathedral’s new seminarian: Beth Anne Nelson

A Diploma in Anglican Study student at the Seminary of the Southwest, Beth Anne Nelson joins our Cathedral family for her academic year field placement. Look for Beth Anne on Facebook leading noonday prayer, and online in small group settings. During her time at the Cathedral, Beth Anne will have an opportunity to develop liturgical, pastoral, and teaching skills. It is our privilege to help form future leaders for the Church, and we are delighted to welcome Beth Anne to the Cathedral community.

Beth Anne previously served as the Director of Youth Ministry at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Kingwood, TX from 2011-2020. Beth Anne has also served as a resident Chaplain at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She graduated from Eden Theological Seminary in 2009 and was previously ordained in the American Baptist Churches. 

Beth Anne has a B.S. in Family and Community Services. Beth Anne and her husband, David, have two daughters, Grace and Faith. In her free time, she enjoys reading and jogging.
