Liturgical Ministries Formation and Training Day, September 7
It can be easy to get focused on the pageantry and mechanics of worship, and forget why it’s important. Those who serve in ministries that make worship possible for the community are not just volunteers, they are ministers. Whether you are an Acolyte, Lay Eucharistic Minister, Lay Eucharistic Visitor, Usher, Lector, a member of the altar guild or one of our Cathedral Choirs, you are encouraged to attend this morning of formation, fellowship, and training in your respective ministry. We will be considering the theme “Holy Encounters” as we seek to connect our hearts and lives of faith to how and why we serve in our specific ministry.
Please mark your calendars for Saturday, September 7th from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. in Reynolds Hall. A light breakfast will be provided.
