Baptisms

If you would like to be baptized, or would like to arrange for a child to be baptized, please contact Baptism Coordinator Louise Langford (713-590-3305).

Baptism Workshops

The Book of Common Prayer states that “parents and godparents are to be instructed in the meaning of Baptism, in their duties to help the new Christians grow in the knowledge and love of God, and in their responsibilities as members of his Church.” Parents and godparents of younger candidates are invited and encouraged to participate in our Baptism Workshop.

In the workshop, you will have the opportunity to explore the meaning of the sacrament of Holy Baptism, study the liturgy itself, meet other baptismal candidates and their families, and tour our facilities. Child care is provided. You may attend any one of the Baptism Workshops, as long as you do so before your chosen baptismal date. We promise you an engaging and fun morning.
